MicroBase Technology is founded in 1997 by a group of entrepreneurs with expertise in academia, engineering and business management. Riding the momentum of the unprecedented growth of Taiwan's electronics industry in 1990s, this group of entrepreneurs has devoted themselves to facilitating the development of the emerging technologies such as Micro Electro Mechanical Systems or MEMS. MicroBase also introduces Taiwan’s first fully automated laser material processing shop. Currently our production facility in the cleanroom is capable of mass production of millions of work pieces such as Polyimide inkjet nozzle plates per month. With expertise and seasoned experience in Laser- LIGA technology for the development and manufacture for miniaturized devices, parts and systems, MicroBase has also become the only company in Taiwan with non-silicon based MEMS mass production capability. Currently MicroBase provides micro system technology engineering and manufacturing services for customers looking for low-cost, high precision, high quantity and superior quality micron-scale device and system solutions. MicroBase has been very successful on helping her customers develop and manufacture high dot-per-inch (1200 dpi or higher) inkjet nozzle plates, high-end microphone filters, micro piezoelectric pumps for fuel cells, micro sprayers for nebulizers, micro metal meshes or nozzle plates for humidifiers and micro molds for injection molding applications in consumer electronics, medical, computer and renewable energy industries.
